Háttérsztori:

The role of the humble Squig in greenskin society is all-encompassing. Embraced equally as pet, mount, siege weapon, and food, the wisest Warboss ensures that he has a Squig for every occasion. That is, of course, as long as the Squig in question is willing to play along.

Chompa himself rose to notoriety following the disturbing disappearance of the Shaman known as Urgl Madcappa. Urgl fancied himself a bit of a specialist with 'mixas' (ie: drinkable concoctions as liable to take the skin off of one's mouth as to have any beneficial effect at all). Due to the spontaneous combustions of some unwilling test subjects, Urgl began experimenting on Squigs. The ravenous omnivores were fed a careful diet of warpstone-laced mushrooms, small mammals, and grog. Most did not survive the experience. Chompa, however, began to thrive.

He quickly developed a taste for warpstone, going so far as to sniff out the pouch on Urgl's belt which contained the green granules and gulping the whole Shaman down. One echoing belch later and Chompa stood alone in the Squig pen, his eyes shining with an eerie intelligence.
